Well, yesterday (july 17) i finally order my FIRST laptop. I got the Dell Inspiron E1705, long story short their were discounts (about 47% off).
E1705 Specs:
-Intel® Core™ Duo Processor T2600 (2.16GHz/667MHz FSB)
-17 inch UltraSharp™ Wide Screen UXGA Display with TrueLife™
-1GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz
-256MB NVIDIA® GeForce™ Go 7900 GS
-80GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive
-Intel® PRO 3945 and Dell 355 Bluetooth Internal Wireless Cards
-FREE!8x CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW) with double-layer DVD+R write capability (always got to love free stuff
)
The reason i got the 1 gig of ram from dell is that they did NOT offer me to bump it down to 512mb so i decide that i go with 1 gig now and upgrade later, but i do play BF2 but i dont think this will cause any problems.
Well, i hope this sucker comes in this weekend, so i can do some serious gaming

, all day i check every two hours to see if they finish the pre-production stage, which they should have, but NOOOO. When i call them up they say they need 5 to 10 days to build the laptop.

, which memory should i buy? and money is a issue
