it will do fine for medium gaming. Please do a search on here, your question has been asked and answered a lot in the last couple weeks.

it will be decent but something like an asus s69j/z69j would be a hell of alot better for gaming

The first thing you listed isn't even a processor.

Core duo and Pentium M are two different processors. The E1505 uses the Core Duo while past notebooks have used the Pentium M.

i took the spec from ebay they didn't have core duo option

so they listed as Pentium M (( core due ))

This is my first posting and I have a question about the 1505 Dell Dual Core; I'm not terribly computer literate so I'd appreciate any help you all can give. I'm looking to replace my desktop with this notebook, but I am not sure about the highspeed connection process. Right now I am on cable modem and I have a wireless router because of our XBox Live, which is in another room from the PC. My question is this - I want to be sure this notebook will connect through my highspeed connection. Do I have to order anything specifically or will it just come ready to go with its designated specs?

just make sure it has the wireless card with the same connection as your router...a/b/g...you can make sure but it should come with it no matter what.

with the same connection as your router...a/b/g..

uhm - can you tell me what that means exactly? I'm serious when I tell you I don't know much about this; I just want to be able to plug in and go!

Actually, my router says wireless g on the front of it...now how can I tell if the wireless card is the same?

I believe that means if you get the Wireless a/b/g card, you should be fine. I also have the wireless g router, so I'm assuming I'll be good to go once it's out of the box.

i have the exact same system. works fine for gaming. obviously not at the highest resolutions or level of detail, but it runs nicely.

yes get the wireless g card or b/g anyone that has g...so like if you order off of dell or any other place make sure you have it and it will be good to go.
