HD questions

i just got my dv8000t. I ordered an 100 gig HD but instead theres an 82 gig c drive and a 9 gig recovery d drive. I'm not sure if this is right, can someone help me.

100 gig is before it's formated, so you lose a couple of gig after the drive is formated.. Then you lose the 9 for the recovery partition, and another gig for QuickPlay.

Go to disc management... and you should see all the partitions...


PS: On 100 gig not being 100 gig... It's sort of like how screen mfgs of crts rate the screen size.... saying it's a 21... when the viewable screen is 19.3... the other being covered by the bezel..
