Last night I spilled some water on my girlfriend's laptop. I turned it off, dried all components and let it sit overnight. This morning I turned it back on and everything works but the LCD's backlight. Should I let it sit for a longer period of time and see if it works or should I try something in the meantime. I am not sure how water caused the backlight to stop working. After water was spilt the screen remained on with no problems until I of course turned it off and took it apart. Any ideas are welcomed.
