I am not sure this is helpful for you...but..

It shows a detailed way to repair a DC jack problem of S2020. With the similarity of internal structure, it may help you to find a way to repair your note.

I repaired the DC jack by myself.

After I posted the replay to your question, I did the repair job as the link describs. It perfectly worked! If you have the sample problem I had(and the author had) try it. It's not too difficult, and it just takes one hour.

Good luck!

I've got the same problem on a amilo L6820.
Where did you find the reference?
Thanks

If the link fails to provide you with the Fujitsu laptop DC power jack repair instructions. Or even if you have a Sony, Toshiba, Dell or Hp , ect. I may be able to help to give you some general help and guidelines in attempting the DC power jack surgical repair operation. There are some things to be aware of and precautions to take. Otherwise you could damage your laptops motherboard or other critical parts, and end up with a "Boat Anchor" instead of a Laptop / Notebook computer! The dc power jack or laptop power connector repair is not for the novice. Any questions....please let me know and I will try and help you. I have much experience with this and laptop repair in general. Email me if you have further Questions or need further help > blueddiamondd@harbornet.com

Thanks and Best regards
