Thread Starter
I just ordered the dv6000z on 7-18-06 and it should be here around the end of the month. At that time I will use my computer building skills and gaming interests to evaluate this baby. I know it's not even close to a gaming rig, but for those of you who want a moderate laptop in addition to a gaming desktop...

Here are the specs that I ordered:
Turion X2 TL-56 (1.8Ghz, 512k L2)
1 GB DDR2 pc4200 533mhz (2 x 512mb)
256MB Geforce Go 7200 (64MB discrete + 192MB shared)
15.4" WXGA Brightview Screen
80 GB 5400 rpm HDD
Super Multi Drive 8x DVD/RW with DL support
integrated webcam
WLAN + bluetooth
12 cell lithium Ion Battery
Windows XP Home + CD
HP Mobile Remote Control

Hey Raven...

I see you got your system with bluetooth. Is there a bluetooth light on the machine to show when it is on/off? I know there is a Wi-Fi light but I haven't seen anything about a bluetooth light.

Thanks.

There is one switch on the front of the pooter that toggles both Wi-Fi and Blutooth on/off. A small notification pops up in the bottom right corner of the screen whenever you hit the switch, telling you that each one is on or off. I have my bluetooth currently disabled through the Device Manager to save an extra 45 seconds of battery. When the switch is off, the blue light turns orange, just like the mute button on the quickplay strip.
