yeah this deal of mine has turned real sour. i now have lost faith in the company, before i ordered i used to look at them and dream of how good it would be to own one. but now the ownership has been de-valued by their poor performance in supply. those who are thinking of buying should know these issues as hardware gets old quick and taking a month or two to ship is bad.

my friend ordered a puter from another company not to name names but they built it and delivered it within 4 days and he's happy.

also the latest update on my order, well they shipped the backpack seperately but they did not email me or send me a tracking number so i was not in when dhl tried to deliver it! so now the package is 30 miles away! bah this is the muppet show big time!

Have they shipped the m7700 to you yet, if so and you've got it is it ok.

My orders just gone down the drain cant supply the blue case, black cases are damaged and I am now waiting for one of their cs reps to phone - only option I've got left(apart from cancelling) is to go with a silver case(my least favourite colour)

Anyways hope your lap top arrives safely and it kicks some ass

nah the notebook is still phase 5 but they shipped the backpack without me having a tracking number, the m7700 is probably some time off yet. some use my backpack will be!

their salespeople say they maybe able to advise of a shipping date come monday, yeah right!

i hope their new owner sorts em out - i think good things maybe coming!

Now I'm even more depressed - in looking at IC's experience it does not bode well for me getting my system. The current reason for the delay on my system is that the system battery is back-orderd. I'm thinking about maybe cancelling it.

Good luck hope you get ures through soon! I'm probably just having a bit of bad karma - maybe I did something bad in a past life

either way ownership seems to work out better than the ordering bit so I guess once the phase game is over I'll be a happy chappy.

Well finally got the AW Backpack for the Aurora m7700 damn its massive but well designed - a bit huge but I'll have to wait until Thursday to see if the notebook fills it well. Still never got a tracking number from AW. Finally got one for the notebook after phoning em enough times!

So far its been a nightmare ordering it but hey it should be worth it in the end! just hope I don't having any teething troubles with the new arrival.

at first dhl tried to deliver when i was out at work, i had no idea it was coming. so when i got the card i re-arranged delivery. this time i've been clever and phoned AW to get the tracking for the notebook the day after i saw my order go phase 10!!! I doubt they would have sent me an email with it! their service sucks but their puters have a good rep, i hear of a few quality issues but other than that the customers seem loyal so they can't be that bad! one thinx

OK so eagle landed yesterday Wednesday and i got my Aurora m7700. First impressions are AW cant build an O/S to save their lives what a mess. The machine is a beast very big very heavy very hot and very noisy. But I knew that when I bought it, what it does do is the run AOE III at its max res with high settings not a problem. Only main bug so far is those damn lights staring at me they are blindingly bright, they need dimming!

Nothing too major I guess, but its not up to my standard or that of what my vaio was as standard. They use only one partition, the screen res was set to somthing other than the native, the wireless card had a conflict between the windows driver and software vendors utility, on boot it had a major operating system fault which I'm looking at in the event log, windows firewall and updates were all switched off as standard, the user profiles are not quite right it insists on calling the admin/owner accounts profile your_username_here or somthing like which I can change the account name but not the associated system folder names. the list will grow and at the mo its not v major I just need to work through it. hardware build it good but its runs hot and is pretty noisy, i have it here at work and it was hard work carrying it in the backpack (v heavy!) now AOE III has stopped working also direct3d errors so a re-install is due tonight, AW thanx for the trouble. If your thinking of ordering think carefully AW puters are not for beginners!
