Need HELP:Wireless connection Slow or no connection

Hey ya'll,

I just got a Dell E1505 and have had it about 3 days! I like the computer compaired to my Dell 6000 BUT my wireless connection is slow AND doesnt always connect! On the 1505 I have the Intel(R) Pro/wireless 3945ABG Network card and on my 6000 i believe i had a 2200 network card. The problem is my 6000 always found a connection and connected and my new 1505 struggles to find as many connections. ALSO when i am online it is slow, It is like i have to click the button 3 times before it goes or even sometimes it will just be slow!!

Is there anyway to fix my wireless card so i am not having this problem??

bad intel card. Dell sent me a new one and it fixed the problem.

Same here. I have a XPS M1210 with the intel card 3945ABG. It can connect to an access point, after a little while, the radio would be disable on its own. The only way to fix it was to reboot the laptop. I tried it with several different access point, same results.

Talked to the tech support and he send an replacement. The card arrived the 2nd day and all problem gone with the new card.

So, talk to the tech support to get a replacement card.
