I have read many reviews on the 8200. The reviews either comes two ways, it is either one of the best laptops the person has ever owned, or it is very buggy and not worth even looking at. After seeing all of the negatiove reviews it seems that it is more then just a couple bad units. So my question to everyone who has this laptops is it worth it? Is the laptop so good it is worth getting one. I really do like this laptops, so any help in deciding will be very helpful.

man compare to other laptops in the market, this one i think has all the features rounded up including menrom support which is great. i would go w/ this intel laptop than any other ones. the design is just awesome and never fades in my opinion

but you also pay the price if you compare to dell..

the acer support is awesome, i never had to deal w/ any problems w/ them. they did everything within its stated workaround timings.

i think by now all the bugs would be washed out w/ the latest 8200 batches.

So by now most of the original problems with the 8200 have been resolved? If that is the case I would buy one, but it seem to me that the problems people have are still happening, long after it original launch date. I will look in to the 8200 some more. BUt any good experiences with this laptops please tell me. As I said I would like to get it.

I just got my 8204 about a month ago. It has to be one of the best purchases I have ever made. There were absolutely no problems with mine. The only thing that I could possibly complain about is the screen brightness, which isn't really too bad.

Will it run Adobe Premier Pro? I have asked this question on other forums but I guess I'm just desperate for an answer. I am SOooo..... not a computer person.

No its not worth it. I was considering this laptop, but had to reconsider because of all of the flaws it had. It has screen issues, buzzing noises, overheating problems, etc. Go for something else. I'd say go for the Asus W3J. It is the perfect laptop.

The only issues that I have had personally is the slightly dim display, which really isn't that bad. No flickering, buzzing or overheating to report, even under heavy load. Overall I think it is a solid laptop with the only flaw being that the exhaust vent is on the right hand side, but I guess it varies from person to person. Maybe I just got lucky, I don't know.
