Ok well I thought of posting this in the peer to peer but then I need as many people to look as this to provide me with as many possible solutions to this huge mess I am in. I will say this in not sager brand, but since they did sell it (3790) someone should be able to help. Ive know and trusted the people on this board, as well as the board owners them selves. I hope I am proven right once again.
Model 3790 Equivalent
Ok I had to fix the wifi wires (grey wire, as it was smashed between items when I got this a year + ago) and during the repair everything seemed to go just fine. But when I booted up, every other line on my LCD was black. Well I double checked the connection and sure enough it was seated just fine. I pulled it out to blow on it, and well sure enough it was clean, and I did a test while that was there. I powered it on and all the pixels could turn white. Its like its missing half its video.
So my best theory is somehow I hurt the line that goes from the notebook to the LCD. Now is it possible that it did get hit wrong when I was gently replacing the wires? Have any other thoughts to solutions?
This notebook has served me well, and there’s no need for this to turn into a 1k paper weight. I look forward to everyone’s help and input on this. If anyone from sager could feel free to chime in, I would be forever in your debt.
FYI: The notebook is apart enough to check everything. I have it running much like Frankenstein did, with viewable parts. So feel free to tell me to look as something without the worry of me having to open it up.
