Video Driver and Games Resolution

Hi,

After playing many hours Generals ZH, MaxPayne2 and Counter Strike I am sure that the Video Adapter Problem is solved.

Now there is a resolution issue with Counter Strike:

I play Generals and MaxPayne in 1024*768 and both are in Fullscreen I dont see any black bars.

CounterStrike has an additional option Widescreen or normal display. For getting the Fullscreen without any black bars I have to switch to Widescreen 1920* xxxx. Which looks really cool, but the frames are in some cases too low.

The next lower Widescreen resolution is 1680 * xxxx which is fast enought (>72 fps) but then I see blackbars on sides and top&bottom of screen.

The normal display of 1600*1200 has at least just black bars on left&right.

Is there a possibility to make CS fullscreen at all?

The next question is whats about this Omega drivers can they support all these resolutions and still provide more performance at all? Maybe then would be 1920 * xxxx fast enough?

Thanks
Houmi
