XTreme-G MobileForce 91.37-v2.50 RELEASED!!!

This driver set is version 91.37-v2.50. This is the first Windows XP driver that makes use of the brand new TweakSet 2.50. This seems to be a solid driver, and actually is the first 90-Series driver that I'd consider running for more than 10 minutes. Performance is solid, and visuals are superb as well. I definitely suggest trying these out and seeing how they run, as I was personally surprised by these drivers. Report any problems, or give the thumbs up to these drivers by visiting www.TweaksRUs.com/forums and browsing to the NVIDIA Mobile Drivers section of the forums, and look for the topic about these drivers!!! As always, have some fun!!!

EDIT1: The driver has been updated with the International language files, which should fix the problems some were having with missing files

EDIT2: This driver has been updated to version 91.37-v2.50e, and includes updated files to fix the problem of BSoD's that many were having. If you were having this problem, please download the updated version.

Is the nvidia settings tray item necessary? Can I disable it? Everytime my lappy startsup I get this odd window running something in DOS as the nvidia settings tray item is being loaded...any help would be appreciated!

Anyway to disable new cp?? Tony??

stopping CP

Ok it is pretty easy to stop the CP from loading. Start -> RUN -> MSCONFIG

Once that opens Click on Services and uncheck the Nvidia. It stops the CP from loading initially, but also disables the services, so make sure you have everything set prior to turning it off.
On MSCONFIG, STARTUP tab, 2 check boxes for the Nvidia CP. NVCPL and the RUNDLL.32 (it should have NvMCTray.dll)
This worked for me, it should work for you.

Do these drivers have the magically-adjusting desktop icons when you close your laptop lid, like the latest Dell drivers?
FPrice, we are not talking about that We are talking about the change from the old easy to use control panel to the "3D" control panel that takes a rocket scientist to navigate.

It may just be me apparently, but I cannot get these to install properly. Everytime I try it states it cannot find specified files. The install program seems to be looking for DLL names with an "R" added at the end. For example, the install program is looking for nvdispsR.dll and in the install directory is nvdisps.dll. The rest of the DLL installations follow the same problem. I was going to rename them all so that the install program was happy but I thought I would check here first. It seems that in the previous releases the "R" was added to the end of the filename...maybe an old setup program being used? I dunno.

Thanks,

Malcolm

Was there any benifit from your upgrade?
I'm still chillin' with default Dell drivers, cause they love me.

...They are designed to provide enhanced performance & better graphics rendering then the generic Dell driver that is created to ensure perfect stability across all of the systems Dell makes.
