Where can I get the ps/2 powertap

I've been searching for that ps/2 powertap and I can't seem to find it anywhere.... I have an external USB 2.0 Hard drive that I would like to to use that powertap on ....

Please help!

Mine came with my drives (www.basoncomputer.com) and since I didn't get one with my first drive (I bought an AC powersupply at the time), I asked the guy on the phone if I could add a second power tap to my order - he said (and did) just throw an extra one in.

I'd call the people that you bought your drive from and see if they carry them.

USB2.0 technically should be able to power the drive through the bus (cable) but in my experience, there are many errors and very bad performance (even worse than typical crappy USB "performance").

I have the UXGA 16.1" screen.

current video driver

myrkat, i have the same laptop as you do minus the awesome paint job. what video driver version are you using right now?

have you tried the artic silver mod yet?

*nevermind* i read the whole thread

anyway nice picz, like the color. i seen something bout ********* on techtv. they approved there paint jobs on apple products.

I am using the Omega drivers (based on Cat 4.4, I think... they were the "latest" as of about 3 weeks ago or so).

Unfortunately, due to some shady business practices, that company is blacklisted here on the forums. They do have some nice colorizing options, but be cautious about WARRANTY issues.
