9750 - Better CPU or video card?

Thread Starter
I am looking to get a Sager 9750 (with an AMD X2 processor) to be used for the next 2 years or so. I would like to be able to play upcoming games such as Crysis. With that being said I have a few questions.

1. Is it worth the extra $300 to get a geforce 7900 gtx 512 over the geforce 7800 gtx 256? Would it be better to get a X2 3800 and geforce 7900 or a X2 4600 and geforce 7800?

2. Would I be able to upgrade the cpu and video card in the future?

I appreciate your help!

Get best graphic card right now because they are usually much harder to upgrade.
Down the line AMD CPUs will get much cheaper, AMD already started price cuts in anticipation of Conroe release. I think in a year or so you can get FX60 for reasonable money on eBay - people will be upgrading to socket AM2 and Conroe.

The better video card will help much more in the long run. However, I do suggest stepping the CPU up 1 notch, but thats just me.

The CPU should be an easy upgrade in the future though, so thats always a consideration. But the video card would be a somewhat dificult and very expensive upgrade.
