Clock generator?

Hi Beachbum,

Great work on opening your 4780

Did you, by any chance, identify the clock generator?

Why, you are asking? Well eh...Overclocking!

Keep up the good work

Did you check the service manual? I know that the 5680 uses an ICS 952618 clock gen. I'm llooking at it from an underclocking perspective -- though I am an extreme OC'r...just want to extend the battery runtime and heat when not gaming.

or the 4080, or most of the more recent chassies. come on clevo, most people who buy your systems over a better known (advertised) company do so because they are interested in computers. so give us our guides and let us tinker. pleeease? (perhaps they have lurkers in these forums, who knows...)
