Boot from your Windows install CD and go into the rescue console. Run "fixmbr", that should solve your problem.

I'm not really sure but a Win9x CD should work too!

Instructions:
1.-Set Bios to boot from CD
2.-Insert Win9x CD
3.-In the first menu select option 2: "Boot from CD-ROM"
4.-In the second menu select option 2 or 3 (number 3 is faster to load)
5.-Type "fixmbr" and hit "Enter"
6.-Restart your PC
7.-Set your Bios to boot from the hard disk

I don't think so...pretty sure 9x and 2K/XP use different boot loaders.

NTLDR error messages are specific to NT/2K/XP and their server variants.

That's why I said I was not sure.

3 months ago I had an error message (I don't remember what it said), but Windows 2003 Server was not loading, and I used the Win98 CD to run the "fixmbr" command and then I restarted and my PC booted fine.

I was just trying to help a little

Just wondering...wich Windows version did you use?

When ever I get that message it means I have tried to boot off something that does not have windows installed. i.e. an external hd or memory card. Always check your boot order first before going to fixmbr
