Widescreen Notepal cooler & 8000t question

Sorry to beat a dead horse (see other thread), but have heard a lot of good stuff about this cooler and have 2 questions.

1) Apparently, the back of the notebook hangs over by about 2 inches. Is this unstable and becomes prone to tipping with the monitor opened/pushed back?

2) Considering that the back of the computer isn't sitting on its raised feet (hanging over edge again), doesn't this block the airflow fans even more because they are right on the metal? Also, do the Notepal fans line up with these fans, or are they even suppose to?

Does this 8000t even run hot enough to justify a cooling aid?

I honestly don't have a clue at this point (only had desk tops), but I've seen a bunch of threads where people says it gets hot. For the time being, I'm probably doing Laptop Legs on a cutting board/portable desk, but if it gets really hot because of a lot of video editing and DVD rendering, I want to take whatever precautions I need to.

Kind of leaning away from this thing now b/c it seems like a lot of people point out the depth of the cooler being too short, implying that 1) it is prone to tipping and 2) when the coolers not on, the HP fans are flush up against the cooler, potentially defeating the purpose.
