No offense & if I ever offended you with my comments, I appologize in advance.

I noticed that you've been asking this question in many threads. I'll love to help but I can't find the model of the web cam for the M1210. I'll like to think that this is a special customize model by Logitech. What I mean is that you'll rarely be able to find it for sale in the retail market & thus it is not possible to compare with one by Logitech in the retail market. Furthermore, after so long, if anyone has got an answer, they'll have already posted it.... Good luck...

It's hard to identify what model of logitech webcam we got in M1210. There are 5 logitech camera that has compatibility with the "Video effects" that we can enjoy in M1210's built-in camera:

SpeedwithJJ is correct, it's not the being sell since it's a customized webcam for M1210 for Dell and Skype.
All of the 5 camera on that link has 1.3 megapixel

Forums of Logitech is at http://forums.logitech.com/logitech/ where no one ask yet on what model of cam. Maybe it's because we should know that Logitech will not support us but Dell. Driver and software updates will be provided by Dell too... I guess.
