w3j and arctic silver 5

I know there is a bit of heat issue with this laptop - probably less of a deal than what I have read thus far. However, do you think arctic silver 5 would help resolve some of this heat issue with the w3j? Can anyone who has arctic silver 5 in their w3j confirm any improvements with heat issues?

The reason I am asking, is that agearnotebooks.com, offers arctic silver 5 with their ensemble of the w3j and I am deciding on where I should place my order.

Thanks for any info.

I'm pretty sure its the GPU that makes most of the heat, and not the CPU.

there's a heat issue?

i've never noticed one, in fact the keyboard and wrist rest is never hot, little warm though. the air coming out of the vent can get really hot when you're playing games, but that's kindof what a vent is for... to get rid of heat

Arctic Silver 5 is a higher quality thermal compound than another brand and model. When running the cpu a long time, it can help a bit , but don't except that temperature is drop a lot. A better a idea is to put a cooling base which take the power from laptop's USB ports, it let the fans cool down the temp on the bottom(1 vent on the bottom).
