why wont the ghost image cd work?

I can make b/u copies of my m1210 and m170 but i tried to make a bu of my e1505 and it tells me the files corrupt missing command somehting but works fine on the other 2

Haven't seen such error over here but have you tried to create/use another? I mean, burn ghost.exe (content of bootcd) again using the guide to create image of dell's hard-disk.

What type of burner is in your e1505? The generic DOS IBM driver has trouble with Panasonic notebook burners. Try temporarily swapping another burner from one of your other notebooks into the e1505 in order to create the backup CD/DVD.
