Hy... My notbook is getting hot when I use it in my lap...

What can I do to stop with this problem....?

just make sure u got more air flow underneath it

to expand upon the above posters statement - most laptops have their fans on the bottom drawing air up and expelling it out either the sides or back. setting the laptop on your lap will block the airflow and prevent the laptop from cooling as it was designed. simple fixes for this are setting the laptop on a cutting board or cookie sheet and then on your lap. or propping up the back of the laptop.

there are also items like this but as Cacinok pointed out a cutting board or something similar will work just fine.

that or i go to a different power mode, thus clockin everything down, and running kewl. IE- For Asus user we have power gear 4, quiet office works great for me, fast and kewl.

If u dont have an asus, get Notebook hardware control (search on google) and install it and set it to dynamic switching.

Cpu will automatically change clock depending on system load.
