Great review from Business Week. Overall, Alienware score 4.5/5 stars.

I think they say the glossy-ness in the screen is a bad thing just so they can say one bad thing about this computer. Lol. The glossy screen is excellent IMO.

i dunno.. i have a glossy screen on my SENTIA and its kinda of annoying if you want to use it in a bright area... or even outside... but at night it's amazing....

If anyone wondered whether PC maker Alienware would stay true to its gaming enthusiast roots following its takeover last year by Dell (DELL), those doubts should be put to rest with its new m9700 notebook computer.
wtf is this guys talking about? didnt this happen like in March?

lol thats kinda what I thought to, but maybe thats just when it became "official"

I want one so bad, but I'd probobly only go with 1 gpu and wait for them to update it, cause adding a second one adds like, 400 bucks to the price. But could I later down the line, decide to buy another gpu off of newegg and install it, or no?
i'm not sure about newegg, but I'm sure Alienware could point you in the right direction to get it, and will upgrade it for you w/out labor costs as long as you're under warranty (means you pay for parts at vendor price, and thats it)

Mobile GPUs cannot be found on regular stores. Only with the mobile system manufacturers, you can add another one down the line as long as its the same video card model. SLI does not allow different cards to be used.

Eeew! The only review posted on that article is by some tunnel-visioned Mac fanboy! I have to admit, my opinion of Macs has changed quite a bit for the better in recent years, but sheesh grow up!

It looks like a run-of-the-mill notebook. All those PC makers should really take some lessons off of Apple's MacBook Pro line.
Makes me laugh - an AW notebook like the m9700 is far from run-of-the-mill in appearence. I wonder if this dude was basing his entire opinion on that microscopic photo in the article?
