at Circuit City. 14.99 U.S. after rebate.Scroll down the page at www.spoofee.com to get the details of the rebate, etc.

I know alot of people with Gateways have complained about excessive heat and poor dissipation. This would be a cheap fix. What I would like to know about them is if the fans are reversible (which I doubt). Be a nice touch to mount some cooler pipes inside and be able to blow cool at the notebook.

Pricegrabber Price : $33.95 ~ $48 Shipped

1. Circuit City Price : $29.99
2. Rebate Price : -$15.00
Final Price : $14.99 Shipped After Rebate

in my opinion there are much better coolers out there. the antec does not move much air and subsequently doesn't cool the laptops as well as i'd hoped. the antec came w/ the fans blowing air downward. the theory is that it will pull hot air away from the laptop and help cool it, but it did not work, at all. no cooling effect. i took the cooler apart and flipped the fans over so that they were blowing up into the bottom of the laptop and this helped the cooling, but just not much. check out the vantec 3's and 4's and the spire, all have received good reviews on other websites and on this one.
