Hi,
I have a DELL D620 with a 256mb nvidia quadro card. I recently had to setup a new harddrive on my lappy since my old one died. Everything goes well, I install the latest drivers from dell. I boot up my warcraft 3 frozen throne game. My resolution is completly messed up I'm seeing like half the screen fro the game, and I can not change the resolution to 1440x900 ingame, its not even listed as one of the resolutions available. Whats going on here? I would like to play the game at the full capable screen.

2nd problem, I was told maybe downloading drivers from a 3rd party source will work. I download drivers from laptopvideo2go and as soon as I install the drivers my laptop blue screens, and everytime i boot up it blue screens? until I uninstall it. Whats the deal here? I think I'm downloaidng the right drivers. Can anyone lend some help, thanks very much in advance

have u tried the driver from nvidia itself? (http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp)
make sure that u have all latest xp updates.
i recommend un.installing ur graphic device (from device hardware manager), use driverCleaner (freeware) to remove all traces of the graphic drivers; reboot, let windows install first the xp default driver, and then use the update driver from nvidia

cheers ...

HI,
I was under the impression taht for a laptop you simply cant just download drivers from nvidia, and you have to download it with a modded inf file from a 3rd party source

The D620 has a widescreen LCD. And Warcraft III will not natively support widescreen resolutions. The following is a link to what you need to modify in the registry in order for Warcraft III to use your LCD's native resolution.
