Hi everyone,
I just received my e1405 but unfortunately I chose not to ship it with a Windows recovery CD. I tend to mess around with machines (install Linux, OSX partitions, etc.) knowing that if things go wrong I can always pop in the recovery CD and get things back to factory settings. With this new laptop I’m scared I could ruin the partitions and end up OS-less.
Now, according the Dell Support there should be a way to do this by going Start-Dell Accesories-Create Recovery CD. Problem here is that my machine doesn’t show it!
Is there any other way around to create a Windows recovery CD?
Thank you for your patience and response.
Micho.
