Decode and encoder drivers??? PLEASE HELP!!!

i was doing something last night on my 8600 with ati 9600 and i have the newest catalyst drivers installed and i have the 4x dvd+rw and i was watchin a dvd and then something happened and my computer shut down and now anytime i try to watch a dvd it says i have to reinstall my encoder and/decoder drivers, please help me, thanks.

Now, what were you doing while watching this DVD?

Seriously, try reinstalling, or have you already?

I've been using these for awhile now.. They're great.. Try installing them..
They cover all the bases..

or you can do a system restore to before you were having the problems?
Or you can reinstall the media codecs off of the Dell discs..

One of those options should work for ya..

now for some reason whenever i play any video file in almost all the players i have it will play a little then the error window that says send error report and stuff comes up and i have to clsoe. is taht codecs or what
