I am now in the process of making a homemade laptop cooler where my laptop cooling system can hook up to the back of it. It can also be used to hold my laptop in my lap and in the car when I don't have a desk to place it on.
Alright here it is. First picture is it standing on the front edge. I constructed it all out of wood (it would have been better out of metal, but I lack the materials and skill to do that) then stained it. This was my first time staining anything and it was on plywood so it didn't turn out perfect, but I think it looks kinda cool. I freehand painted the sager design on the front and side. It has the three holes for the fans on the 5680 and about a 6cm gap in the back for my cooling system (see second picture on my first post). I also plan on lighting it up with cold cathodes in a few weeks. I will post pictures of it all setup back at school when I can hook up the ventilation as well. The third picture is a stand I made for my audio-technica A900's, great headphones btw.
