Hi all,
Been a lurker since I purchased my 7422 over a year ago. After surviving a HDD failure, cracked hinge and screen flickers, all of which fixed via advice in this forum (Thanks all!), my display decided to toss me a new bone. Today a horizontal line appeared across the top third of my screen. I called EM and was told the display was bad and would cost me around $500 to replace. I am now out of warranty and would like to replace the display instead of buying a new lappy. I found a new display on ebay for $220 and was wondering if this is something relatively easy to do on my own or should I just send it in? Any guides to walk me through this?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated?
