Replacement rubber feet

Has anyone found a source for exact replacement rubber feet for their eMachines notebooks? I've had my M2350 for about 15 months and have finely managed to lose one. Email to eMachines customer service tells me that my machine is out of warantee and that I should contact my local computer store (Best Buy?) to buy the feet but somehow I think that would be a waste of gas. I really don't want some kind of huge round feet or some other cobbled up crap. These things can't be impossible to find.

The two best "fixes" for this issue that I've heard of are:

1. Replacements from Radio Shack, though I doubt they're exact duplicates.

2. In a post at another forum I once read that a guy cut very small pieces of tightly woven carpet, and then Super-Glued them to the bottom of his machine. If the feet on my PowerBook ever fall off, I'll probably have to try that.

I know you said you didn't want the clear ones, but I can tell you that I replaced my emac feet with the small clear ones from Wally-Mart and they have outlasted the others by far and best of all about $2 cost with replacements if needed. Good luck in your quest.

Well, color is not so important. It's just the thought that something is not available. I mean, am I to understand that the only way I can get exact replacement feet for my notebook is to pop them off the display models at the store? Some how this does not seem right to me. :/

There have been a few people post comments quite a while back having had success getting feet sent to them after calling Corporate.

Laptop Legs?

Says they're $19.95 but 'redularly' $24.95. Is that a good deal?

1) http://www.kk.org/cooltools/archives/001534.php <- Just make your own with a glue gun

2) I HATE the rubber feet. I never find myself wanting my laptop to NOT slide on my table, so I tore them all off and replaced them with felt glide pads (like you use for furniture feet on wooden floors). Those raise the laptop off of the desk surface just fine, and I can push and pull the machine around on the table. Heaven.

Laptop Bumpers

I purchased these awhile ago and they are HUGE Portnoy. I would give them you as I do not use them like I thought I would. The original free shipping set was sent back to the sender and that company spent $15-20 to ship them out again overnight.

I am going to one day try my hardest to get that one part velcro piece under the laptop off as it was a waste. If you want them, let me know. Just you'd have to buy the other velcro piece to match and then make it round. And from what I recall, they do come in various colors.

I did grab some small rubber "bumbers" from work some time ago. They are harder than the original feet so they would slide a bit on a desktop and around the same size although rectangular and not, ovalular? Oh well, I may pop a couple of those on some time and see if I like that.

And yes, ovalular is pretty much the most interesting word I've made up in several weeks.
