Emachines M622-UK8X drivers needed

Hi .

I've got an Emachines M622-UK8X, Sempron 2800+ inside. Got the recovery CD that came with it too, but after installing the system it appears no internal devices (such as audio, video or ethernet) are working (it shows them as not installed)... Can someone please direct me to a place where I could get all the necessary drivers? Already visited the Emachines website, but no luck .

this machine is sharing the same chipset (Chipset ATI RX480+SB400) as 7510gx (or even the w4620), u might want to try to go that route and see.
from arima it is the W622-DK8X & W622-UK8X, W730-K8X and the W720-8KM

hey Im actuly having the same problem with this Emachine as you were is there anyway you could send me a link to the drivers that you used. Ive got the M622-UK8X im no that great with computers so im kinda having a hell of a time finding the right drivers thanks.

hey man thank you for the link it work out perfect im actuly still missing one driver its for a mass storage controller if u have any ideas on how to help me out on that that would make my day cuz ive just about got this thing going good again. eather way thaks a ton man.

Hey, The following link is for the drivers. Download and install the media card reader driver. Update the drivers for the mass storage using the files that are extracted. http://emachines.com/support/product...es&model=W4620

I have sound!

Thank you to all! this site helped me! Everything works Now! I was ready find the nearest dumpster and never offer to re install an OS ever again especially on an emachine!
Here's what I did:
I went to emachines site and got drivers for a W4620.
I got the chipset driver AMD chipset driver that was called media reader 2.0.0.0.exe (when installed it was the Texas Instrument PCIxx21 intigrated flash).
the audio driver that was called conexant v.92. (when installed it called it's self a conexant audio AC-link)
the Ethernet Broadcom 7.97.0.0.exe (Netlink gigabit ethernet PCI)
the modem driver called a conexant modm 7.20.50.exe (AC97 Soft data fax modem with smart PC)
the touch pad (Synaptics PS/2 port)

The display drivers (ATI Radeon Xpress 200m series) I got direct from ATI.
the wireless driver (Broadcom 802.11g Network adapter) and SMBUS driver (sorry I forget what that did already...it's been a long 5 days) are the only drivers that worked that emachines' site said were for a M622-uk8x laptop Wal-mart special.

Note, when I first installed this audio driver I still had a yellow exclamation mark on my audio driver in the device manager and no sound...after a hand full of uninstals reinstall look for updates... It worked! Don't know don't care.

Hopefully this will help someone else and save them downloading hundreds of drivers that don't work.
