Hypersonic at the Conroe launch...

Hey all,

Intel released the Conroe yesterday and we were there to greet it. We brought over our new Sonic Boom OCX, with our new Hypersonic Thunderbolt case. Not to toot our own horn but (toot toot!), we were on center stage behind Intel's President & CEO, Paul Otellini as he gave his keynote speech. The rig is the fastest we've built to date thanks to the Conroe, and our team of techs. We were given lots of props for our rig, both from Intel and by...the Frag Dolls.

Up close and personal with the new Sonic Boom OCX.

My favorite pic of all, Frag Dolls showing Hypersonic some love.

Intel also asked us for a unique notebook computer that would look unlike anything else at the event, so our designers
came up with this custom upholstered, real crocodile skin finish.
At this point it's only a prototype and is very costly to make but
it can be done for anyone who wishes to stand out and make a bit of a fashion statement.

If anyone wants to see some more about the Conroe release (including a nice close up of our system ), check this out http://news.com.com/Intel+opens+thei...l?tag=fd_carsl

pat.

I believe it was Quad SLI. The notebook was done in-house.

Very nice looking desktop display booth. However, I am not crazy about the notebook design at all especially since it looks like a cut out for the display only. However, it would look great for someone into that specific look to carry under their arm while wearing some matching boots.

New Product Announcement:

"New from Hypersonic and Intel: The Crocalator!
On the go and need the fastest rig available? Want to stand out from the crows? Have stringent security demands? See the all new Crocalator, featuring the real crocodile skin and real crocodile teeth!! If an incorrect logon attempt is made, the case slams shut and the teeth embed themselves in the would-be thief's wrists!"

The Desktop display looks great, but if wireless mouse and keyboard would have been used, it would have cleaned up the appearance real nice. The croc looks good, maybe an idea for my next machine.
