I've read several posts here about different software, so I wanted to ask which versions of some of the ones I've read have you used for doing slideshows? I don't want to spend $100+. This is just for me to play with and make family slideshows we can play on the TV.
I've got Dell Media Experience, but not the software to support burning slideshows. When I click to copy it into Sonic MyDVD, it throws me into a site where I can purchase the required software, which Roxio--Creater8 Suite and it runs $70. They have another called My DVD8 for $50, but not sure if it will let me burn DVDs.
I've looked at the Ulead site, but there are several versions. I was looking at DVD Moviefactory5 and also CD & DVD Pictureshow 4.
Have not looked into Pinnacle, Adobe, Nero. Would appreciate any opinions on these or others.
