Ok I'm finally ready to pull the trigger and buy my 9750, my question now is which site has the fastest build to ship time? I'm planning on ordering on the 31st and hoping to receive it by no later than the 8th of august D:

I know PCTORQUE did it in 5 days for me last time, if anyone can make any recommendations or anyone whos gotten theres in ample time please let me know. Thanks <3

powernotebooks.com likes to burnin their notebooks for 48-72 hours so maybe it would take 4 days to build and burn in, then the rest will be based on your shipping, theyre based in nevada.
You can probably ask them not to burn it in, so they might send it to you faster

I'd prefer the burn in though and I"m gonna pay for the 0 dead pixel so I make sure I get a good LCD since the last one I had on my 9880 had some white spots and the backlight was flickering since day one. Thanks though, I was kinda hoping discount laptops since they seem to have more options and teh Media Edition but I'll check out power and see what they have. I really wanna make sure its all in good shape mainly the LCD god that scares me T___T

Getting teh WSXGA+ BTW

UPDATE Thank you all for all your information and answering any questions I"ve had and worries, It really meant alot, I finally just put in my order for my new 9750. Heres the current config. Hoping all goes well >.< I have till monday morning to change the config since the order won't actually be taken till then. <3 Powernotebooks.com Talked to the rep and answered all the other worries and questions I had as well. Open to any last minute suggestions as per my current config if anyone has any pros and or cons about it ^^;; anything is appreciated thanks again <3

Powernotebooks does not see your notebook.... ever. When you buy a Sager it ships directly from Sager. All reseller selling under the Sager name have the same 1st year warranty, burn-in, return policy, dead pixel policy, and DoA policy.

The truth is no one knows what these companies really do behind closed doors during their 'burn in' tests. They are supposed to run heavy duty benchmarks, like 3dmark, over a couple days to ensure that the hardware doesn't fail during very intense situations.

Hypersonic and others claim to do burnins that are 48-72 hours but still ship lemons on occasion. I mean, Sager shipped laptops with the plastic film still on the cpu's a while ago. Of course those machine failed after being powered on for more tha 5 minutes.

Burn-in is a gimmick unless it can some how be proven that it's being performed.

Ok had a lil Delay but finally had the trigger pulled last night and the card went through, Ordered my 9750 with next day delivery. Should have it Monday or Tuesday of Next week if not this Friday depending on if theyfind a dead pixel or not, I'll post a review after getting it.

What programs should I run to show tests that people would like to see?
I never had a chance back when I first got my 9880, but after reading around so much I noticed everyone loves to see reviews on these things. Any Suggestions lemme know

Holy Cow that was fast, I ordered it around 8pm the day before they shipped it and it just arrived this morning O_O so in all reality it only took a day to build / get here >_> WOW. I'm currently at work ( Have duty ) So I won't be home till tomorrow to play around with it but omg I'm ecxstatic right now xD !!
Sent one of my friends on a mission to safe guard outside my house till the package arrives so he can bring it to me at work for me to just drool on till I can bring it home tomorrow with all my goodies mwahha <3

More details when I get back !!!

Well got it late on friday night haven't had a chance to do to much since I've been busy, mainly just copied over all my data etc, one thing I have to say though is that even with the 7900 512 GTX I have yet to feel any heat on this thing even when running 3DMARK 2k5. Its a beauty no problems or anything just need to adjust the brightness / color a bit on the LCD and thast about it the image detail is beautiful though. Loads up into windows in under 15 seconds. Was worried I'd have some of the common problems that people seemed to have been getting in the Tech forums, but so far everythings works beautifully. Wireless/BT/Video/Sound/ Need to test out games, Only have HL2 and Doom3 atm but friends gonna loan me FEAR and Far Cry. Mainly old skool gamer, Tested out a ps2 emulator and it ran KH flawlessly from where my 9880 was having trouble a bit, ( yes I own a ps2 / the original game :3 )

3D MARK 2005 = 8080
Not sure if thats low or not for this.
Need to run 3DMark 2k6 later on.

Giving the buyer my old 9880 tomorrow figured I'd pop out my roomates and new one for a group pic since thats the last time I"ll be able to do that xD; Imma run more benchmarks later this week and give a better review.

The glare is on the center one is just cuz I haven't taken off the protective film part, wanna leave it on this time hehe. Bottom left is my old 9880 you can tell from the keys being used and the smudges etc, bottom right is my roomates 9880 as well though it needs to be sent in due to a fried motherboard due to a power out on his ship during deployment

Update more on this, the only problem I'm having atm is that the screen is really dull , colors look all faded etc and when I try to tweak it I can make it look beautiful but it comes out really dark and thats bad for alot of apps / games cuz it strains my eyes cuz its like its dim. Anyone ever had this problem? or is it simply a game with color settings till you find the shoe that fits?

The screen is definately not vibrant. I can't use an external samsung monitor with it because the samsung is too bright (it's buttonless and can only be adjusted in windows, but I use linux so i'm screwed).

My eyes have adjusted well so I have no problems and am perfectly happy. Unfortunately, if you sit it next to a brighter screen it'll drive you crazy.
