hi all,
i'm about to go to college to study music and math. i found a great deal for the tablet C312XMi, at just shy of a thousand bucks. but, i'm wondering if it's really worth it, because there are two aspects to the computer that i've been told to avoid:
1. 512 MB ram (actually, i wasn't sure about this one-- general info. says 512, but specifications say a gig. i emailed the retailer to check, but i haven't heard back yet. also, i checked trustedreview and it said 512, but the review was done in nov. 2005-- is it possible that the same model was upgraded?)
2. only 4200 rpm
on the plus side, it has a cd-rw and dvd+rw (something i was looking for), intel pentium-m (not a total plus, but certainly not a disadvantage), AND it's a tablet for only (no such thing as "only" for a college student, but you know i mean) $999.00.
so, to sum things up: should i get it?
thanks!!

p.s. the trustedreview site is here, if it helps: http://www.trustedreviews.com/articl...ge=4869&head=0
