9400 brightness washed out and fked.

From day one my brightness out of the box was CRAZY high like I mean washed out over exposed. I had to change all the settings but I never feel like they are right. I have reinstalled tried diffrent drivers, what could cause this, and is there any way to fix this, I paid alot of money for this laptop and I get depressed thinking there is something wrong with it.

i too have a washed out dell screen they are defictive they leak light
dell should replace them i wish i sent my back in the first 21days
the one dell is shipping out now dont have that trouble there is nothing you can do try to get dell to replace the screen

I thought the same thing about my 9300 screen, until I saw a thread in here about changing color profiles, about a year ago. It made a HUGE difference. Maybe you have tried this or, maybe you really have a jacked screen, just thought I'd bring it up.

I posted a related thread awhile ago, because I couldn't get my friends 9400 to except new color profiles.
