BSOD during startup 9860

I was first having problems with my CD-DVD rom, I would put a cd or dvd in and the laptop wouldn't recognize it. So I went to the sager website and downloaded the flash utility for BIOS. After I flashed it and rebooted I get a Blue screen when windows tries to start. Anyone can tell me how to go back to my old BIOS or fix this problem?

most of the time u can flash your bios to an older version - in ur case, it is a previous version. i recommend that u create another bios update boot diskette or cd with a previous version and try again.
BSOD - have u tried to boot the system with XP (recovery) cd and try to check for errors/restore it?
go thru ur bios settings again to see if u need to set/reset some values
i strongly recommend making a copy of ur current bios before future flashing.

Im not quite sure on how to do this as i flashed from windows before. Do i just download the flash utility and the 1.00.04 from the sager website and then boot from floopy?

u'll need the flash utility, BIOS file (ROM), dos-boot diskette (can be created under XP)
