I traded mine off it wasnt doing it on all games but I play online WoW mostly and wasnt satisified. I have a cheap gateway right now but it runs WoW it stutters a bit as well but less in WoW then the Sager did.

From here forward its no Sagers for this guy.

I may have come up with something on this. When I upgraded my 9860 (due to a fried MB) and upgraded the video card, I began to get the stutter problem --- Video stops every 3 secs or so, mouse control pauses and sound gets weird.

I couldnt figure out what the problem was but I realized that the problem had completely gone away for several months. The problem is now back and the only change I mde was to re enable Bluetooth. I'm going to turn that back off and report back with my findings. So maybe its a problem with enabling bluetooth on the WIFI/BT card.

I disabled the BT and this seems to have resolved the problem. BTW, when the stutering does start in my case, the issue is not just in-game. Its in all aspects and won't subside until a reboot. I'll go w/o BT for a while and see if the problem crops up again.

My 9860 (not upgraded) has the same problem intermitently (has had it on and off for about a year now). The stuttering was interfering with my modem operation even, and I would lose my internet connection shortly after the stuttering started. I don't have BT -- just WIFI. Iv'e tried a number of things to diagnose it, and haven't found the culprit yet. Fortunately, it happens very infrequently. I recommend you try repeat enabling/disable cycles to see if it really did fix the problem.

Hey. I had the same problem. My bf2142 was stuttering bad. I initially thought it was the video settings but it happened on all settings. i dont know if the source of the problem is the same as yours, but I've somehow managed to fix it. What I did on my laptop was upgrade the video driver to the latest one, reinstall my audio driver, defragg my harddrive, and installed Lavasoft's adaware program and scanned for spyware. I'm not sure which solved the problem, but everything is working great.
