My Macbook is on its way!

Hi all, On friday (28th) i purchased my first mac (Macbook)! i am so excited and cant wait to get away from windows! i cant count how many hours ive had to spend fixing my Dell Inspiron 6000D! anyway, on the apple website it said it would take 3 days to ship it, but i woke up this morning to an e-mail telling me it had already been shipped on day 1 of the 3 i was expecting! i couldnt be happier! The estimated delivery date is the 8th of August! do you think it will come earlier than this? I live in the UK so i guess that means it only has to come from Ireland. Oh and here are the specs i ordered:

2.0Ghz Core Duo
80GB HDD
512Mb RAM (i am planning to upgrade this later on)
and all the rest you get standard

I cant wait to get started and leave Windows behind!

Grats on the purchase. I think they leave a cushion on the shipping date so I am sure you'll probably get it sooner than Aug 8th.

enjoy the laptop. i too spent lots of hours fixing my 6000d. one thing though, it was a lot easier to fix than popping open a macbook. and dell was always good about sending replacement parts no worries. apple has already replaced a dead battery in mine, 3 months old. it wasnt more than a 5 min phonec all with them and i had it next day! great service. apples customer support leaves much to be desired though...

Did you get your Macbook? How does it works?
I'm actually have to renew my notebook (Acer, works great) and I hesitate between Macbook and PC. I barely know Mac.
