WWDC 2006 (San Fran) - Page 2

I would say the main rollout would be...

1. PowerMac replacement
2. Xserve replacement
3. Leopard unveiling
4. iPhone or some sort of PDA/phone combo. (wild guess here)
5. The lauging of thier stockholders all the way to the bank as a majority of folks pound the Apple store minutes after the conference.

WWDC was totally underwhelming.

Leopard doesn't really seem to have anything new in it other than a few bit features.

The new PowerMacs are sweet, though.

I like snefchief's idea about a 13" Macbook Pro. Let it look just like a Macbook, put in a decent GPU, maybe Geforce 7400 or ATI chip, have option for 7200 RPM HD and option for a 2.16 Ghz processor; even core duo would be nice, and have the heat dissipation thing figured out with a new cooling design. To me that's not so much to ask for the Macbook that should have been. Charge about $2299 and keep the regular Macbook "as is" for thrifty buyers.
