One of the first things I did with my Acer 5672 when I got it was change the drives from FAT32 to NTFS. Recently, I sent my laptop into Acer (they said they could possibly fix the hot touchpad problem so I figured it was worth a try) so I used eRecovery to backup my system just in case. Unfortunately, I was in a rush to get it backed up before Fedex arrived to take it to Acer, so I didn't have time to check that the backup was successful. My question is this: will a backup of an NTFS drive work? I don't mind if it gets switched back to FAT32 because that's easy enough to fix, as long as all my data is still intact.
