Hello everyone, I've been shopping around for the last few weeks and Iam stuck on what to buy.

Iam a canadian resident about to attend college in the fall. I am looking to buy a laptop that supports my gaming needs. Iam a pretty hardcore WoW raider and wouldn't mind being able to run the game at full setting without having any lag at all.

My specs are as follows:

15` is really all I need.
Two Batteries pref
I prefer NVIDIA over ATI.
I want atleast 2gig RAM :/
Wireless Capabilities
100+ gig hard-drive
3 year warranty as I don't want to have to replace this laptop untill my program is over.

I only want to spend around 2-2.5k canadian. Thanks guys.

Duo 2 Core

Should I wait for the Duo 2 Core notebooks to be released before I make my selection? And should I just pick up one of these bad boys?

The Comapl Hal80

I can't find any reviews on the hal80 or actually any information on the web besides on discountlaptops. Is there another model that this has transformed into or something?
its called the hel 80 not the hal 80 thats why you cant find reviews. here is one

Think I should wait for the release of the Duo 2s before buying? And is the Inspirion 6400 worth buying with all of the Dell coupons?

I looked at the Z96J/S96J but I can only find them barebone.

Wait as long as you can, and they buy the best you can afford, and don't look back. There will always be 'the next best thing' coming out. As well, when Core 2 Duo if first released it will be expensive and you may not be able to afford everythnig you want.

well

Well will the prices on the Duo Core 1 drop by any large numbers? Iam thinking about going with that chembook 4080, but if the prices are gonna drop in a month I'd rather wait.

The prices are not due to drop significantly that I have heard.

Your best bet is to head the advice:

How is Discount Laptops? And is this Compal Hel80 a good book for transporting between classes and then playing games online?

Also: Can I just get a bluetooth card for WIFI or do I need another built-in wireless card?
