Hi.
I was using a liveCD of dyne:bolic Linux, which is a minimal OS, while waiting for a hard drive for this notebook. I got the HDD, which apparently still has Windows installed but won't boot (I intend to write over it with Linux or my own Windows installer, not trying to use the HDD as it is). After putting the HDD in once, the CD will no longer load, it doesn't even look for it. It always tries the floppy drive and tells me "Operating System Not Found". I took the HDD out, btw, and it made no difference, it can't find the CD now.

I installed the updated BIOS from the manufacturer and have been changing every setting it has, but it will not boot anymore. If I go to "secondary master" in BIOS and select "CD/DVD Drive", save the settings and exit, it erases that setting next time I go into BIOS.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks.
