Hi,
I bought my laptop at the begining the year (Aspire 3020) and everything came installed and ready to use,
I recently restored my computer and installed windows and all the drivers that I could off the CD suplied.
But when I try to watch a video it freezes after about 5 seconds usualy .avi files also I only have 3 options for my resolution
(800x600, 1024x768 and 1280x800) I tried to download the updated driver off the acer website I install it and looks like everything is going fine but when i reboot its the same as it was , Any one have any ideas what I can do next its quite annoying.
Thanks, Chris

When you try updating the video drivers do they actually update? Check the version you're running versus the one you tried installing, if they're different then the problem seems to be with drivers. Are you expecting more resolution options? Prior to reinstalling windows did you have more to choose from?
