How to remove/replace HDD in Sony VAIO VGN-T350P

I want to change the HDD in my VAIO VGN-T350P/L. The entire unit must come apart to do this and Sony Support only tells me to take it to an authorized service center. Sony's (consumer available) Service Manual shows exploded views and part numbers but not "how to" do this or anything else...

Any helpful information would be appreciated...

Which HDD...???

The OEM HDD is a Toshiba 60 GB 1.8" and not the standard 2.5" size, which drive did you use to upgrade your unit...???
