Mediadirect not working properly

I reformatted my hard drive with partition magic to get rid of the 4 gigs of recovery and added it to my C: Left 1.5 gigs open for Mediadirect and followed the instructions on here to reinstall it. MediaDirect works but the pictures were all upside down when view in the slide show and the quality was terrible. Tried watching a dvd and it was just frame by frame stuttering.
When it tries looking for music, it just freezes up with the Dell MediaDirect in the upper left corner. Sometimes it won't start with full screen and have to restart it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
This is on an XPS 1710

Try this, when you boot MediaDirect, press F8 until you get the the page that asks you if you want to delete boot partition (or something to that extent), say "yes" and once it's done it will recreate or fix the MediaDirect boot record, MD should then work.

I tried F8 while starting MediaDirect but it just took me to the normal windows boot option, safe mode, etc
