Laptop sound card problem

I reinstalled windows to replace my 8 month old install. and once I put everything back on the computer, I decided to connect it to the tv. The audio output was fizzy (through the audio jack) and have very little volume to it, i didn't notice anything wrong before (through the laptop speakers) so i thought it was the cable, so I got another and tried it, no luck, Still fizzy and barely audible.
Then i tried some headphones, still fizzy. I know this isn't broken hardware because it worked fine before the reinstall. After messing around with all the volume controls and equalizers. I started haveing audio blackouts at high volume on the laptop speakers. So i reinstalled the drivers... 5 times from different sources. I even went through all the trouble of reinstalling windows again. still no luck. I think i encoutered this problem before when i got the laptop and i fixed it somehow, but i don't remember, as i probably suppressed the memory. It seems to me as though the speakers aren't getting enough power for the volume I select.

My laptop is a MSI MS-1029 and the audio driver is the realtek AC'97. Plz help and sorry if its in the wrong section as i cant find a help section.

I remember messing around with the device driver resources, but it won't let me change that now. If it's of any relevance I can change the balance slider to the right and it won't blackout through the internal speakers. But the headset still doesn't work. Any IT professionals read this forum? If any one knows someone already registered to this forum who is an IT pro, please ask them to help me. I know that this forum has 80,500 members and this thread only has about 50 views. This notebook isn't just an item that I sit and look at, it's my life, it helps me grasp reality, and holds me from insanity. (well, when it's working anyway) I will try a bios update now and see if that helps.
