My next alienware I am debating if I am gonna keep my aurora and have it look pretty next to the p2, or sell it...prolly gonna keep it.
nah I sold most of em... I sold my first Area-51 way back in 2001 to build my video editing PC... my Area-51m conspiracy blue was lost in the mail, and AW built me a new one (i was going to keep it...but felt i would never use it) so i sold it my first Sentia i traded to Lawson for his Dell 9300 my Aurora i have, but its about 5% AW and 95% custom built... so pretty much the case is the only thing that is the same... and my new Sentia i'm keeping yes I'm still in school... but i have a sick paying job due to my co-op placement... so pretty much when i graduate in May, i will have over 2.5 years of experience in the field...

I'm sure it will... i need to buy a laptop cooler now. any suggestions?
I don't think you'll need to buy a laptop cooler. The Core duo's don't get hot, but if you want to be safe then i'd check out the laptop4cool. Its on newegg i think

No reason to take chances, but I haven't heard any heat issues at all with the 5700 or 5750.

yeh, dont get me wrong. i have faith...

I got my first Area-51 right around the curve of the Pm chip... i bought a 2.4 Ghz P4 instead because the 1.7 Ghz Pm was +$400 more... which i thought was outrageous at the time... took my chances... ended up paying for them...

i like your dedication to AW Hammer... you ever try and hang around NBR for the day? they are scared of me over there.

oh yeh

I'm a member over there, but the AW bashing is over the top IMO. Nobody there wants to deal with reality. When one of the mods over there said that AW uses the FCC sticker to cover the "uses refurbished parts" stamp on the case, I'd had enough...

That AWVeteran guy needs a life too.

Search for my posts over there and you'll see what I mean, I've only posted a few times.

I've actually sparked some life over there... a lot of people repped me and came out and said they were scared of asking questions and saying what they enjoyed about AW until i came around and stood up against AWvet... i think he was banned....

Glad to hear that.

I don't remember the guys name, but one of the mods there was bashing AW unfairly as well, so I didn't stick around. If the mods are being unfair there's little reason to be there.

Maybe I'll stop back in for a visit, but I already spend too much time everyday on forums...

yeh it was just one of those things where i couldn't leave until my wrath was heard... its funny to see the dell and asus guys bash AW there, where it is frowned upon here... like it should be everywhere... the mods just dont care
