T43 ~ Is this deal worth it?

Hi everyone! I have the chance to get the T43 with the following specs for 1299 Canadian...what do you think?

ThinkPad T43, Windows XPPro, 2.0GHz, 512MB RAM, 80GB HDD, 15in SXGA+(1400x1050) LCD, 64MB ATI Radeon X300, CD/DVD Burner (DVD+/-RW), Intel 802.11abg wireless, Bluetooth, Fingerprint Reader, 3 Year Warranty

It will be primarily used for word processing, internet etc. I am in law school and need a new lappy that is light, but not too small (i.e. the X series is too small for me).

That looks like a very good price for that system. It should serve you well for the next 4-5 years. Just curious, 6 or 9 cell battery? Also, if you're going to carry it around alot, you might want to look at the 14" screen.

Sounds good enough. You could get a 14" with SXGA+ (1400 x 1050) as well. OTOH since u are in law school I'd say a 15" (1600x1200) with UXGA might come in handy.
