Smudge marks on palm rest of W3J

This is really pissing me off...after about 3 weeks of using this thing..i see quite a bit of smudge marks on the palm rest of my W3J when viewing from certain angles. When I look at it when its right in front of me, it looks fine, but if I look at it from the side, I can see that there are quite a bit of smudges. Its looks really bad. I had initially gotten the first streak of the smudge when removing the **** sticker that came on the W3J. I removed the sticker and a little sticky stuff was left on the palm rest so I rubbed it, thinking it would be okay. Surely enough, the sticky stuff came out, but I now had a nice mark that was visible from the side view. Any way to get rid of this stuff? Water and a cloth? I tried taking pics of it, but its not showing up in the camera. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Next time, instead of rubbing the remainder of the sticker.. use the same sticker and blotch it on or use tape to lift instead of smudge the rest of the sticky stuff on. Just use a damp cotton cloth with a bit of liquid dish soap to clear it.

If that doesn't do it try a 50/50 water alcohol solution. I use that to clean all of my electronics. It works well for cleaning the screen too.

To get rid of the stickiness from stickers, I use hair oil. Apply a couple of drops, rub it around for a few minutes and the stickiness goes away.

Oil is the best solution I've found so far that gets rid of the stickiness without a trace..

Okay guys, get this straight...I DO NOT HAVE ANY STICKYNESS ON MY MACHINE. All I have is a mark there from removing the stickyness. How can I get rid of the "smudge" mark. There is NO stickyness.
