7800go A no go when drivers installed....

I can see boot up screen......XP logo....then blank.

Go into safe mode....uninstal the drivers then load up xp fine with just the standard vga driver.

I reinstalled windows...use the driver from dells site and same issue...black screen when i hit the login page.

Its not locking up....just no video.

Thoughts?

Have you tried an external monitor?

You sure you have 7800Go lol

Were you messing with the GPU BIOS by chance ?

I replaced a faulty 7800go about 3 months back. It is a 7800go. I did nothing...everything was working fine when i noticed a graphical glitch on my cursor.....rebooted and it never came back up. XP was up and running...just no video. Have to unsintall the drivers for it to work in vga mode.
